Award-winning vocal group, Restless Heart, will headline a special evening of music at Nashville’s Listening Room on October 13th, benefiting the Shepherd Center’s SHARE Military Initiative. A celebrity auction featuring autographed memorabilia and other items will also take place during the evening’s festivities, with all proceeds from the show and auction going to benefit Gulf War veterans suffering from brain injuries and post-traumatic stress disorder. The benefit lineup for the evening, which kicks off at 8 p.m., promises to be stellar. Restless Heart, (“Bluest Eyes In Texas,” “"I’ll Still Be Loving You,” “When She Cries,”) Rebecca Lynn Howard (“Forgive,” Jim Brickman’s “Simple Things,”) Jason Matthews (Billy Currington’s “Must Be Doin’ Somethin’ Right,” Trace Adkins’ “Tough People Do,”) and Sherrie Austin (“Streets Of Heaven,” George Strait’s “Where Have I Been All My Life”) will all trade hits and share stories with Sirius/XM The Highway host Storme Warren throughout the evening in support of the worthy cause of aiding soldiers suffering from traumatic brain injury and PTSD. Located in Atlanta, the non-profit Shepherd Center is ranked among the nation's top 10 rehabilitation hospitals in the nation by U.S. News and World Report for treating spinal cord injury and brain injury. SHARE Military Initiative at Shepherd Center is a comprehensive rehabilitation program that focuses on assessment and treatment for servicemen and women who have sustained a mild to moderate traumatic brain injury and PTSD from the Afghanistan and Iraqi conflicts. SHARE provides assistance, support, and education to service members and their families during their recovery treatment and beyond. In addition, the program compiles data that is beneficial to policy and legislative change to provide for unfunded services. Tickets for the special evening are $20 in advance and $25 day of show and are available at www.shepherdcentersociety.com/nashville.
