By the time Sarah Dunn was 13 she knew she wanted to perform and sing. Growing up her folks didn’t have a lot of money but that didn’t stop her from learning the fiddle by watching her great grandfather play and by listening endlessly to Bob Wills’ songs on her Little Orphan Annie record player. “That’s all we had,” Sarah says. “I remember watching him, and picked up one of his old fiddles. I still have it actually. I would sit and start that record over and over trying to learn those Bob Wills songs” she added. Sarah was playing a gig in Tulsa when she met Scotty Bell who was playing in a band that same night. They clicked musically and from there Scotty introduced her to bass player Roger Caple and drummer David Montgomery and together they formed the Sarah Dunn Band. Collectively their credits include Vince Gill, Tim McGraw and more. They have performed at venues such as The Apollo and The Superdome. Their new single “You or the Whiskey” has just been released with their album dropping August 19. The band is currently touring and visiting radio to promote their new single. www.sarahdunnband.com twitter.com/sarahdunnband www.facebook.com/sarahdunnband
