The Roosevelts Join Green River Ordinance's Fall Tour; Premiere Video for "Belly of the Beast"7/22/2016 NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Friday, July 22, 2016 Press Release) – The Roosevelts will be bringing their magnetic live show to audiences across the country as they provide direct support for Green River Ordinance’s Fall Tour. The duo, consisting of James Mason (vocals, guitar) and Jason Kloess (lead guitar), are giving concert-goers a preview of their electrifying set in their brand new black and white video for “Belly Of The Beast”. Though the boys now live in Nashville, the artsy video was filmed last month at their hometown show in Austin, TX at 3TEN ACL Live. “Belly of the Beast” is the second single off of their debut album, The Greatest Thing You’ll Ever Learn, and the sultry tune will impact Triple A and Non-Comm Radio on Aug. 1. Keeping with the Austin theme, The Roosevelts will be making their official Austin City Limits Festival debut in October and they are more than thrilled to celebrate this victory in the city where their musical journey began. “It’s been a whirlwind year for us. People are really connecting with this new record. We can see it in their faces every night and the way they sing the songs back to us. It’s been such a joy to watch as these songs, which hold so much meaning for us, begin to hold meaning for others as well. The world has felt very divided lately, but you wouldn’t know it from watching the people at our shows,” says Mason.
When asked to define their unique sound the brothers in beards will tell you, “its harmony-driven American rock, with a 70s sensibility.” “We hope our music will break your heart and make you shout for joy, all at the same time," says Kloess.
