(Press Release) Wrapping up a successful summer with his hit single Women, Water and Beer, country singer/songwriter Travis Rice released fan loved favorite song on Monday, October 24, 2016 entitled, When the Fish Didn’t Bite. What started off as simply incorporating over 100 photos of his loyal fans in a lyric video for the song this past June in honor of Father’s Day, has now turned into Rice switching plans and releasing it to country radio. “Social media blew up when we released the video,” shares Rice. “I received so many messages that I knew there was something special right there. I felt it deserved to be the next single.” This song tells the tale of Rice’s childhood days spent with his father and the life lessons he learned from those fishing trips. “Those fishing trips were so much deeper than just spending time with him; he was teaching me how to live and how to be a man.” Life lessons that included: “Treat a women like a queen cause that’s just what she is,” “Learn to take your time son, this life it ain’t a race,” and “Remember where you come from, thank God for what you have,” to name a few. Available on iTunes and other major online distributors, When the Fish Didn’t Bite was written by Rice and produced by Noah Henson (producer for Kane Brown’s EP Closer and guitarist for Brantley Gilbert). This reminiscent tune showcases a softer side to Rice and shows what’s to come first quarter of 2017.
