Video Premiere: Jason Wilber "Shame On You"

Indie-folk/Americana artist and John Prine's long-time guitarist, Jason Wilber will release his new album, Reaction Time, on August 11th.  For the second album in a row, Wilber worked with longtime friend, producer Paul Mahern, who has produced and engineered records by the likes of Iggy Pop, Neil Young, Willie Nelson, and Okkervil River. 

The result of  long, hushed hours spent scribbling in notebooks and dreaming up mournful melodies alongside cascading harmonies and jangling guitars, Reaction Time centers on unabashed honesty and vulnerability which bleeds through on the title track and songs like “Jealousy and Envy,” "Heaven," “Teenage Idol," and "Shame On You." 

TDC is pleased to exclusively premiere the video for "Shame On You," which centers around Wilber moving between a hotel room and arcade pondering what transpired between him and another. Set over a relaxed groove, Wilber's smooth vocals relay the stinging wounds that persist long after the dissolution of a relationship. Watch the video in its entirety above.
