ALBUM FEATURES JACK INGRAM, DANI FLOWERS, ROSS COOPER AND RANDALL CLAY Nashville, TN --- August 2, 2016 (Press Release) - This afternoon, critically acclaimed road warrior William Clark Green confirms he will release WILLIAM CLARK GREEN - LIVE AT GRUENE HALL on September 23. A fiery entertainer with swagger in spades, Green is known for selling hard tickets from New York to Denver. While the concept of a live album can be daunting for many, it was a natural fit for Green who plays over 150 dates a year. A challenge he welcomed with open arms. When asked why Gruene Hall? William quickly answered, “Gruene Hall’s history - it’s a blessing to be a part of it. It’s about as rich in Texas music tradition as it gets. Just about everyone has played there, past and present.” He continued, I’m very fortunate to be part of a record that was recorded there. For them to allow us to do that - I owe them many thanks.” Many artists have paid tribute to the rich history of venue, by recording live albums in the dancehall, including two that stand out among the pack for Green. “Two of my favorite live records are “Jerry Jeff Walker – Live At Gruene Hall” and “Jack Ingram – Live At Gruene Hall.”
In fact, Jack Ingram lends his vocals to “Goodnight Moon” on the live album. Other artists featured include Dani Flowers on “Final This Time,” Ross Cooper on “It’s About Time” and Randall Clay on “Ringling Road.” In all, the album is comprised of twenty-one tracks. Each filled with Green’s signature smoky vocals delivered with a confidence owned only by the most seasoned touring veterans. WILLIAM GLARK GREEN - LIVE AT GRUENE HALL adds to the proud Texas tradition of recording live. Green’s choice to record at the legendary Gruene Hall is sure to enchant Texas music fans who have already made Green a house hold name in the Lonestar State. The live album is also the follow up to his critically acclaimed Thirty Tigers release RINGLING ROAD. The album received high praise from the likes of Rolling Stone Country, American Songwriter, and Billboard among numerous others. Produced by the talented Nashville based treasure Rachel Loy, the album was one of only three albums produced solely by a female to make its debut inside the Top 20 in decades. His electrifying live shows coupled with a warm, approachable, guy next-door charm have made Green a favorite among fans and critics. Regarded as an up and coming star on the national touring scene, Green will make stops this year in major cities across the nation including: New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Boston, DC, Indianapolis, Memphis, Nashville, Dallas, Houston, Denver, Los Angeles and Atlanta, among others.
