(New York) "Me and You"--the second song and video from Willie Nelson's forthcoming studio album Last Man Standing--made its debut online, Wednesday, March 14. This latest video arrives just before Willie Nelson and Family headline the Luck Reunion Festival, an annual day-long music celebration dedicated to honoring rogue music legends and today's artists imprinting American roots culture on their own terms, which is held at Willie's ranch in Luck, Texas on Thursday, March 15. Lensed during the recording session, "Me and You" features Willie and longtime friend/producer/collaborator Buddy Cannon creating an electrifying new addition to the Willie Nelson catalog. As Cannon tells Nelson at the opening of the video, "You've got a lot of singing to do," a sentiment Willie takes to heart in an incandescent performance. Arriving just in time for Willie's 85th birthday (April 29), Last Man Standingwill be available on CD, 12" vinyl LP and digital formats on Friday, April 27.
