• Sunday, April 22 @ 8pm – Hayley Orrantia with Brennley Brown: Hayley is the star of ABC's hit sitcom, "The Goldbergs."  This performance is part of her first-time-ever tour - Strong, Sweet & Southern Tour.  She will be singing original music as well as cover tunes she has done on the show.  Brennley was one of the youngest contestants on The Voice season 12 (2017).

April 10, 2018 (Press Release) -- Maine-based southern-infused rockers The Mallett Brothers Band have shared a new single from their forthcoming LP Vive L'Acadie! at Glide Magazine, who praised the track as "a barn-burner...dagger chops...no dull notes." The band is currently on tour with Phish drummer Jon Fishman and have annonced a free video stream of their April 12th show at Brooklyn Bowl. 
 
Buried deep underneath blankets of wooly southern rock, gritty songwriting and soaring odes to lost love, The Mallett Brothers are entrenched in the dense forests, majestic mountains and icy beaches of their Maine homeland. Their rock ‘n roll resides inside of a weathered and lived-in, rootsy Americana built by brothers Luke and Will Mallett and band. It's that distinctive sound that's helped them to share stages with both critical favorites like Drive-By Truckers, Shovels and Rope & The Felice Brothers and legends like Phish drummer and singer Jon Fishman (who will be hopping aboard the band’s spring tour this year), The Allman Brothers, and many more. “Vive L’Acadie," the title track, came out of a David Lynchian trip the band made to Fort Kent, Maine. "We were driving down the road on Main Street," says Luke. "We turned on the radio and it was playing all these French versions of pop-country songs. It felt like we were in a different world. Later that night, an old man in a bar was yelling "Vive L’Acadie". Turns out, that’s the Acadian battle cry! The Acadians wound up being Cajun, but they're a French, Canadian and Irish mix of people that ended up in the woods up north. Their influence is all over Maine. Our grandfather came from Salmon River, Nova Scotia. If you go back up there, there’s a whole cemetery full of Malletts.”

Milwaukee-based (and Boston Terrier loving) troubadour Trapper Schoepp returned to his critically acclaimed 2016 album, Rangers and Valentines, for his latest video outing, "Mono Pt. II." Inspired by his own encounter with mononucleosis, “Mono Pt. II” explores the kissing disease and the institutional runaround of health care in America - a subject all too familiar to the young singer-songwriter who was misdiagnosed, prescribed an incorrect medication, and ultimately, landed in the ER with a severe allergic reaction.

In the darkly humorous feature, director Caroline Jaecks (Joan Jett, Craig Finn) draws from those experiences, portraying a hospitalized Schoepp in a standoff with a nurse whose bedside manner is more than questionable.

Released in 2016, Rangers & Valentines was produced by the Raconteurs' Brendan Benson in Nashville and features members of The Hold Steady and Superdrag, as well as GLOW star and WTF podcast host Marc Maron. In 2017, Schoepp toured extensively in the U.S. supporting the release of Bay Beach Amusement Park, his well-received concept EP based on the beloved Wisconsin amusement park. Free festival slated for June 16 in Corsicana, birthplace of legendary country singer

NASHVILLE, TENN (Press Release) --- Country music star, David Frizzell, has announced the inaugural LeftyFest Music Festival to be held in Corsicana, Texas on Saturday, June 16, 2018.
 
The festival is established, in cooperation with the city of Corsicana, to honor the enduring musical legacy of Lefty Frizzell, one of American music’s most iconic and influential singer/stylists of any genre. Lefty, who would’ve turned 90 this year, was a member of the Grand Ole Opry, and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1982. A star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame honors his contributions to entertainment.
 
David Frizzell is the younger brother of Lefty. He toured with Lefty in his youth, before being signed to a record deal of his own, and going on to a multi-award-winning career that remains dynamic today. David is a singer, songwriter, touring performer, producer and author.
 
A chance meeting with Corsicana Chief of Police, Robert Johnson, set the wheels in motion for David Frizzell’s longtime dream of a festival to honor his world-famous brother. Johnson, arguably the only SAG-AFTRA actor in the world who also happens to be a police chief, is an avid fan of Lefty Frizzell, and was instrumental in the early planning for LeftyFest.
