(Tuesday, August 9, 2016) – With the camera lens so close it was reflected in his signature aviators, Eric Church spoke directly to his fans just minutes before taking the stage for his first of two solo shows at the majestic Red Rocks Amphitheater alerting the thousands watching via Facebook Live as well as the sold-out crowd of his plans to tour in 2017. He revealed that his North American 60+ city run, the aptly titledHoldin’ My Own Tour, will officially launch on Jan. 13, 2017 at Lincoln, Neb.’s Pinnacle Bank Arena and include stops in Chicago, Ill., Los Angeles, Calif., and will conclude with two nights at Nashville, Tenn.’s Bridgestone Arena in May. For the first time ever, there will be no support act on this tour. Eric Church and the ECB will play two full sets with an intermission in between. In an effort to ensure his core fans get great tickets at face value, Church is revamping the pre-sale and on-sale process to eliminate scalpers from the equation. (NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Nashville, Tennessee...) - August 8, 2016 - Shooter Jennings continues to amaze and astound with his latest album Countach (For Giorgio), ten songs written or inspired by electronic music pioneer Giorgio Moroder, which he debuted inside the virtual world of multi-player online game Shroud of the Avatar™. His latest music video is an eerie animated offering of "Cat People" which features Marilyn Manson on vocals. "Cat People" was originally written by Moroder and David Bowie and featured in the 1982 movie of the same name. Bowie also included the cut in his 1983 hit album Let's Dance. The creepy pixilated clip was directed by Valenburg and Blake Judd, and the animation was also created in a 16-bit look by Valenburg. The apocalyptic story line follows Shooter and several women who flee Hollywood. Several references to Bowie, a hero of Manson's, can be seen throughout the video. Nashville, TN --- August 8, 2016 (Press Release) --- Over the weekend, indie powerhouse Cody Johnson lead trending searches on iTunes across all genres. Johnson set the chart ablaze last Friday with the release of his new studio album GOTTA BE ME, making the climb to #1 on the iTunes Country Album Chart in just 30 minutes. The album also made a mind-blowing debut at #2 on the iTunes All Genre Album Chart. Even more impressive, is the fact that Johnson’s self-released album has been parked at the #1 spot for four consecutive days. Johnson’s army of fans - CoJo Nation – have been spreading the word on social media with a continuous blitz of activity that has been raging like a wildfire for the last 18 months. In less than two years, (in between album cycles) the CoJo Nation have purchased 1 MILLION dollars of Johnson’s music on iTunes, 500,000 concert tickets, 400,000 singles and have streamed the singer 80 MILLION times in the last 18 months alone. |
