EP Review: Curse of Lono (Self-Titled)

​UK based Americana-outfit Curse of Lono will release their self-titled debut EP on October 14th. The dark four track collection begins with the ethereal harmonies and atmospheric  electric guitars  of "Five Miles" before segueing into the eeriness of "London Rain." The short set is rounded out with the delicate, melancholy folk tune "He Takes My Place" before closing out with an intense, sexually charged, yet dispirited, take on "Saturday Night."

Curse of Lono will be embarking on their first UK tour this Autumn with Texan roots rockers Uncle Lucius. In addition, the EP will form the soundtrack for a short film of inter-connected videos directed by Alex Walker and shot by Bart Sienkiewicz that will be released alongside the EP.
