Single Review: April Kry "Fireflies"

Rising country star, April Kry has released her brand new single “Fireflies.” The song, written by Jennifer Pappas, JP Rende and Kathryn Rende combines heartfelt, sentimental, and romantic lyrics with April’s strong vocals. "Fireflies" has a lovely instrumental introduction (and conclusion) which paints the scene of fireflies dancing in the summer sky, transporting the listener to the time when "we were fireflies," while the banjo backed melody and infectious chorus will undoubtedly have you singing along. "Fireflies" is a mid-tempo, upbeat song that listeners can relate to in the moment as well as one that will remind listeners of their first love and a time when things were new and the world was at their feet.
