Single Review: Chris Chitsey "Lonely in Tuscon"

Native Texan Chris Chitsey made a name for himself on the Texas honky-tonk circuit before finding success on a national level over a decade ago. His evocative voice and energetic stage presence quickly established him as one of the latest Texas exports to find national acclaim.  His self-titled debut album had three songs hit the national charts including "At A Time Like This."

Now, Chitsey returns with his first studio release in over a decade. "Lonely in Tuscon" finds him teaming with acclaimed producer D. Scott Miller. The song, written by Lee Thomas Miller and Roxie Dean, is a romantic ballad that is both traditional and timeless. The beautiful melody, paired with Chris' warm, smooth and emotive vocals, conveys the emotions of a man who fears losing his love while realizing he needs to show her just how much he loves her.
